So during Christmas we wanted to eat at Notting Hill Brasserie, but when we called they were booked so they were kind enough to recommend "The Ebury", so I called and they had availability for Christmas Day.

Christmas Day arrived and Mike & I and his parents (San & Mike Sr.) headed out to check this place out. We arrived and the outside was cute, the inside was cute yet manly. We ordered and when our food arrived we were all seriously impressed. Everything looked and tasted FANTASTIC.

I had the pictured above leek and mushroom tart, with salad, and corn risotto as my starter (omg this was SOOO delicious) and Fillet of Beef (Filet Mignon) for my entree with this side of something that I don't know what it was I just know it was DELICIOUS. (sorry forgot to take a picture of it) and then for dessert the pictured above Chocolate Mousse/Custard type dessert with a vanilla ice cream (again SO DELICIOUS)

The staff was incredible. Perfect in fact. Which in London is truly saying something because customer service here is not their strength in most cases. At the end of the meal the manager gave us 40 GBP worth of vouchers to use on a future visit. Yet another reason why I fell in love with The Ebury and its staff.

So for my belated birthday dinner I choose The Ebury. I had the Potato Gnocchi with spinach and Parmesan cream sauce (pictured above) It was delicious. The best cooked spinach I've ever put in my mouth. Then for dessert I had a warm molten chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and Mike had the apple and pear crumble with ice cream (both were DELICIOUS)

The staff was again incredible! Perfect in fact!

This place has great food, drinks, atmosphere, staff, and a great location. Believe it or not the prices aren't that bad either. Give it a try if you haven't already. Tell your friends!

As Alton Brown would say until next time "Good Eats"

Cheers,
WMMc
